Top 14 Highlights: Montpellier v Castres

Montpellier extended their lead at the Top of the Top 14 standings with a dominant display over Castres. Montpellier's South Africans were in fine form for the home side with scrumhalf Ruan Pienaar scoring 17 points, while hooker Bismarck du Plessis scored a brace and lock Nico janse van Rensburg dotting down for one of his own. Francois Steyn slotted a drop goal as Montpellier went into the break 21-0 up. Armand Batlle scored Castres only try of the match before Enzo Sanga and Joe Tomane scored late tries as Montpellier secured a comfortable 38 point victory.
