Toulon secured the services of Liam Messam and Julian Savea at the start of the season but the pair haven't been able to stop the side from starting the season poorly having won just two of their opening 9 games.
Known for being big spenders, Toulon is reportedly in talks with two current All Blacks being linked with the club for the after the World Cup in Japan.
French newspaper Midi Olympique has reported that the club is in talks with Hurricanes outside back Nehe Milner-Skudder and Crusaders centre Ryan Crotty.
According to the report, Toulon is in advance talks to sign Milner-Skudder while the deal for Ryan Crotty is still in its infancy.
Toulon does have competition for their targets with Lyon also interested in signing the pair, while Crotty is a wanted man in France with Racing 92 also interested in his services.
Ben Smith is another All Black on his way to France according to Midi Olympique with the paper stating that he has signed a 7 month deal at Pau which will commence after the World Cup in Japan.
Finally, Pau and the New Zealand Rugby Union are currently in a tug of war battle for the services of Ardie Savea, who signed a one-year deal earlier this year which will see him remain in New Zealand until the end of the World Cup at least.
