Warriors have announced the signing of Jersey Reds captain Scott van Breda on a one-year deal.

 
The 26-year-old utility back, who predominantly plays at full-back but who can also play at fly-half, centre, full-back or wing, becomes Director of Rugby Alan Solomons’ sixth signing ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.

Scarlets have announced that fullback Johnny Mcnicholl and winger Tom Prydie were both injured in the club'sPRO14 defeat to Leinster on Saturday afternoon.
 
Both are likely to miss the remainder of the season after follow assessments confirmed that they would both require surgery.

Ospreys Rugby has announced that James King is the latest player to extend his contract with the region, signing a new three-year deal.

The 27-year old, who has worn four, five, six, seven and eight for the Ospreys and has been with the region for 10 years and will continue to remain with the side until the end of the 2020/21 season.

Former French international lock Jocelino Suta has announced his retirement after he ruptured his Achilles tendon in training.

The powerful second rower represented France six times between 2012 and 2015. He made 11 appearances for Toulon this season and was one of the most respected players in the Toulon squad.
