Super Rugby Round 7 Review:
- 2142
This weekend the competition sees it’s second double header come into play, but Friday we kickoff with a New Zealand derby as the Chiefs host the Hurricanes at the FMG Stadium Waikato in Hamilton.
On Saturday, things start really early as the Blues who welcome the Lions to Eden Park first thing in the morning and then Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane will play host to the Sunwolves against the Crusaders and then straight after the Bulls take on the Reds.
Later the afternoon we have a South African derby which sees the Stormers travel to Durban to face the Sharks. This encounter is a top of the table clash in their conference, and it could favourable result for the home team could give themselves some breathing space at the top.
Sunday there are two matches, first up is the Jaguares against the Highlanders in Buenos Aires and then we finish the weekend off with a Australian derby. The Brumbies host the Waratahs in Canberra and a win for the home side will see them take a full grip of the Australian conference.

Top Try Scorers in 2020:
Some might think that it is a little surprising that the Australian conference is currently providing the players with most tries in the competition. Rebels winger Andrew Kellaway has really impressed until now has scored some fantastic tries on the break, while Folau Fainga'a keeps dominating at maul time and is on track to become Super Rugby's all-time great when it comes to forwards scoring tries.
South African winger Kobus van Wyk has played the least amount of games thus far but has cashed in with four tries during his two starts for his new franchise, the Hurricanes.
