Full time sees the Hurricanes hold onto 4th place on the overall log and secure their home playoff against a lively Chiefs side who started the game brilliantly scoring three tries in the first half to lead 21-0. The Hurricanes fought back in the first half and could have stolen game after Johnny Fa'auli was red carded for a high tackle with no arms in the 60th minute. The Chiefs managed to hold onto a 28-24 win and will face the Hurricanes in Wellington next week for a place in the Super Rugby semi-final.
