A strong second half by the Stormers saw them run out 30-22 winners over the Blues in round 13 of Super Rugby. Two first half tries to one saw the Blues take a slender 12-10 lead into the break. The Blues scored early in the second half to extend the lead to 19-10. The Stormers responded with a penalty and then scored to hit the front at 20-19 with a quarter of the match to play. The Stormers crossed for another try to stretch the gap to 27-19. The sides traded penalties in the final ten minutes as the Stormers claimed an eight point home victory.
