Six Nations Finally Confirm The Details Of The Rescheduled France v Scotland Clash

The Round 3 Six Nations clash between France and Scotland has been rearranged for March 26 at the Stade de France.

The game had originally been due to be played on February 28 but was rearranged following a Covid-19 outbreak in the French camp.

It will now take place in Paris the week after Super Saturday on a Friday night with an 8pm kick-off (9pm French time/CET).

The last Friday night encounter in the Championship came in the opening round of the 2019 Guinness Six Nations when Wales came from 16-0 down to beat France in Paris on their way to the Grand Slam.

Scotland opened their Guinness Six Nations campaign with a first win at Twickenham since 1983 before suffering narrow defeats to Wales and Ireland.

France, meanwhile, opened their campaign with victories over Italy and Ireland – the latter was their first win in Dublin in a decade – before losing to England in Round 4.

The encounter at the Stade de France could therefore prove crucial in the race for the 2021 Six Nations title should Les Bleus defeat Wales in Paris on Super Saturday.
