Semi Radradra and Harry Randall get Bristol off to a record breaking start in the Challenge Cup Final

Bristol Bears put in a blistering second-half display to secure a 32-19 victory over RC Toulon and clinch a first European Rugby Challenge Cup title on Friday night.

The Bears finished strongly but were quick out the blocks too. The quickest in fact as Harry Randall dotted down just 15.64 seconds in the final.

Although it was Randall's name on the scoresheet, it was Bristol's star man Semi Radradra who set Pat Lam's side on their way to a record start.

Radradra fielded the ball from the kickoff and shifted it wide to Alapati Leiua, he darted down the touchline and gave it back inside to Radradra who sent Randall through for the opening try.

At 15.64 second, Randall's score is the fastest try from the start of a match in European Rugby's history.

Leading statistician, Stu Farmer revealed that before Randall's score Bristol Bears' fastest ever European try was after only 16 seconds when Alex Brown scored at Neath in the Challenge Cup on 5 January 2002.

While also tweeting that Tyler Morgan's try 13 seconds after coming on the pitch v Worcester was the fastest individual try-scoring 13 seconds after entering the field as a replacement.

22 points from the boot of fly-half Callum Sheedy and tries from Harry Randall and Max Malins proved enough to see off a Toulon side who led by six at the break as Bristol claimed their first European title.
