Sekope Kepu bids farewell to Exiles

London Irish have confirmed that Australian tighthead prop Sekope Kepu will leave the club with immediate effect, citing personal circumstances as the reason for his departure.

Kepu, a veteran of 110 tests for the Wallabies, has turned out for the club since the 2019/20 season and has notched up 14 caps since then.

Exiles’ director of rugby Declan Kidney issued the following statement:

“Whilst we are desperately disappointed, in these unprecedented times, we understand the human element of Sekope’s situation.

“We wish Sekope and his family well – and thank him for his contribution to the club."
