Sean Reidy speaks ahead of Ulster vs Toulouse showdown

The second game of the first round of the Champions Cup treats views to a titanic clash as some of the best of Ireland and France will collide in the form of Ulster vs Toulouse. It promises to be a great spectacle between two teams exhibiting quality form in their respective tournaments.
The ‘grudge match’ element will be high in this one as is was the very same French outfit who brought Ulster’s brilliant 2019-20 campaign to a grinding halt in the quarter-finals, beating them 36-8 at Stade Ernest Wallon.
Industrious Ulster flanker Sean Reidy leant his thoughts ahead of the big match-up:
"You just don't get as many opportunities in these bigger matches, do you?
"You might only get two or three a game and if you don't take them you're in for a hard night.
"We know the physicality and the speed that these European games are played at and, as a group, we know we've got to be at our best to put our best foot forward.
"On the back of that, you can get punished for your mistakes fairly easily at this level.
"You're playing against a top calibre of player, so if you're not on your money, you're going to be in trouble as well. I think there's a really small margin of error in these games but hey, they're the ones you want to play in. You want to test yourself against the best and what better way to start than this weekend?"
Interestingly, of the 10 times these two sides have met in the Champions Cup, Ulster have won 5 and Toulouse 4, with one draw occurring. Friday’s game kicks off at 20:00 local time and should not be missed.
