Another great day of action which through up some cracking results. We take a look at the PRO 12, Aviva Premiership and TOP 14 to see how the stats compare against eachother.
Total tries: The Top 14 produced the most tries with 19, the PRO 12 produced 15 and the Aviva Premiership came up with 11.
1st half tries: 11 tries came from the TOP 14 in the 1st half, 9 in the PRO 12 and 4 from the Aviva Premiership.
2nd half tries: 8 tries came in the 2nd half in the TOP 14. 7 from the Aviva Premiership and 6 from the PRO 12.
Total points scored: The Top 14 threw up the highest amount of points, with 229 scored, the PRO 12 produced 132 and the Aviva Premiership 110.
1st half points: 131 points came from the TOP 14 in the 1st half. 75 came from the PRO 12 and 42 came from the Aviva Premiership.
2nd half points: 98 points came from the TOP 14. 68 came from the Aviva Premiership and 57 came from the PRO 12.
Highest team points: Glasgow produced the most points with 41. The Top 14 top scorers were Lyon with 32 and Aviva Premiership was champions Saracens with 30.
Highest points in game: The game which threw up the most points was Stade Francais vs Clermont with 60 points, in an entertaining 30-30 all draw. The PRO 12's highest scoring game had 50 points as Cardiff vs Edinburgh produced 50, while the Premiership game between Harlequins and Bristol contained 40.
Highest player points: Leigh Halfpenny came up with 21 points today vs Brive. The highest out of the 3 leagues.
Highest team try scorers: Glasgow were the highest try scorers from all 3 leagues with 6. Saracens were the highest in the Premiership with 4 and in the top 14 Stade Francais and Lyon also scored 4 tries.
Winning margin: Glasgow's 36 winning margin over Connacht was the highest out of the 3 leagues. Saracens won by a comfortable 32 and in the TOP 14, Lyon won by 19.
Away wins: There were 2 away wins in the PRO 12, the highest total out of the 3 leagues. Bath claimed the only away win in the Premiership and Brive were the only side in the Top 14 to win away , claiming a historic win against Toulon
