Courtney Lawes was at the centre of the match winning piece of defence for the Saints as he bids farewell to Franklins Gardens and has the chance to lead his side to the title.
Saracens got off to a good start but the home side dominated at scrum time and fought their way back into the game and took a comfortable lead at the break.
Elliot Daly and the bench stood tall for Saracens with another solid outing from Owen Farrell. Langdon Pearson and Odendaal were the spark that ignited much of what Saints did on attack with Mitchell and Furbank everpresent.
A brilliant try saving tackle from Gonzalez and a late try from Cinti kept the visitors in a game they looked like losing by some margin.
