Exeter Chiefs' Champions Cup tie against Toulouse on Sunday is in doubt after fears of Covid outbreak in reigning English and European champions camp, according to a report the Daily Mail.
Toulouse reached the semi-finals of last season's competition where they lost out to Racing 92 and started their season with a narrow victory over Ulster while reigning champions Exeter registered a 42-0 thumping over Glasgow.
One of the most anticipated games of round two of the new season, Exeter’s game against Toulouse is in doubt after a suspected Covid outbreak in the Premiership club's camp according to the Daily Mail's report.
The game is set to take place on Sunday at 3:15 (UK Time) at the Stade Ernest Wallon.
Sportsmail reports that tournament organisers were locked in meetings on Wednesday afternoon amidst fears of an outbreak at the Chiefs and that the defending champions may now have to forfeit their game against Toulouse.
