PRO14 Highlights: Munster v Connacht
- 1363
It was really a game of two halves in this clash between Munster and Connacht at Thomand Park. Jack Carty was flawless from the kicking tee but a try from Darren O' Shea inside 20 minutes was good enough to give Munster a 10-6 lead at halftime. The Munstermen came out firing in the second half with tries from Conway, Earls and a brace from Conor Murray all contributing to a comfortable win. Credit to Connacht for playing until the final whistle and a try from Tom McCartney on the 77th minute mark gave a scoreline a more balanced look. Both sides looked dominant on their own scrum feed and can take positives from this. Connacht became ill-disciplined late in the second and a yellow card from Quinn Roux was deserved as a result of his dangerous hit on Keith Earls. Final Score at Thomand Park 39-13.
