PRO14 Highlights: Connacht Rugby 11-19 Zebre

Zebre gained a historic 19-11 win away at the Sportsground. It was the visitors who looked more dangerous with ball in hand and built a deserved lead when Renato Giammariolli crashed over inside 20 minutes. Two penalties from Craig Ronaldson closed the deficit and Zebre led 6-7 at the interval. The Italians got the upper hand in the second half when Andrea De Marchi took advantage a charged down Marmion kick to stroll over for another score. Zebre struggled with their discipline in the closing stages where Mbanda and Parata were both sent to the bin for cynical infringements. Daragh Leader's score with 8 minutes left gave the hosts some hope from clawing back the deficit but Ronaldson missed the conversion making it a real uphill battle. FT here Connacht 11 Zebre 19.
