A super game of rugby ended with the result Sale deserved at AJ Bell Stadium. It finished with a very scrappy 10 minutes of rugby but Sale hung on and fought with everything to try to finish their "disappointing season" on a high. A game which saw very fast and skilful rugby was thoroughly enjoyable to watch for 70 minutes. Physicality from both sides was evident in the exhausting display. 5 minutes into the second half Sale has a 17 point lead. The gap was narrowed rapidly by Bath as they were eager to push for a semi-final spot. Leicester came out on top of their match which consequently ended Bath's hopes of qualifying anyway. The game finished with 14 men as Neil Briggs and Francois Louw committed foul play - A disappointing end to an exciting game. AJ MacGinty deserved
