Exeter dominated Newcastle in this Aviva Premiership fixture and deserved their 36-5 victory. Three penalties from the boot of Joe Simmonds along with a try from Nic White on the stroke of halftime was enough to give the hosts a 16-0 at the interval. Exeter continued their dominance in the second half and two further penalties from Simmonds and tries from Woodburn and Don Armand settled the game as a contest.
