Munster youngster Hodnett enjoys a try scoring, man of the match debut
- 2085
Munster hammered the Southern Kings on Friday evening scoring ten tries in a comprehensive 68-3 victory.
The record victory for Munster also saw the debut of flanker John Hodnett who was named man of the match in the win.
Hodnett was played a pivotal role in Ireland's U20 side that claimed Six Nations grand slam glory last year and seamlessly slipped into the PRO14, albeit against a poor Kings side.
He would contribute to the first try of the night as he tore through the Kings defence to go just five metres short of the line before running in his own in the second half.
The 21-year-old made 11 tackles in the game, won two turnovers and made 92 running metres beating 5 defenders from his 8 carries.
