Munster bag a bonus point win at home
Munster prove too strong for Gloucester in a dominant second half as the two-time champions get off the mark for 2025/26.
A quiet start to the second half matched the first’s intensity, with the half’s first pints being scores on 50 minutes.
Mike Haley found just enough space down the right as he reached into the corner for Munster’s second.
Two more came as the fatigue hit Gloucester, with gaps appearing in the back line. The experience of Tom Farrell and Tadhg Beirne shone through late on too as both went over in the final eight minutes.
The perfect remedy for a Round 1 loss, Munster get their season up and running thanks to a statement second half. All still up for grabs in Pool 2 for Gloucester.
