Luke McAlister signs for Clermont as a medical joker

Following an injury to Camille Lopez, Clermont have brought in Luke McAlister to provide cover.

Lopez suffered an open fracture of his tibia on his left leg 20 minutes into Clermont's Champions Cup match against Northampton Saints back in October.

30-year-old McAlister is expected to arrive at the club in the coming days, having recently signed for Toulon, where he has played only four games this season (3 starts).
