London Welsh embarrassed by Exeter Chiefs

The honeymoon period is over for London Welsh after they were handed a 52-0 hammering by Exeter Chiefs at the Kassam Stadium.



London Welsh blooded a number of their new signings but they had absolutely no answer to the Chiefs' intensity as Exeter ran in seven tries with Sam Hill and Ryan Caldwell excelling.

Debutant Thomas Waldrom finished the match with a brace of tries alongside other efforts from Hill, Dave Ewers, Ian Whitten, Jack Arnott and Chrysander Botha.
