Lions tour shake-up

The third wave of Coronavirus in South Africa is expected to mark changes to the British & Irish Lions tour. 

It is now expected that, instead of playing one test in Cape Town and two on the Highveld, all three tests will be played out at the Cape Town Stadium, though it is not yet official.  

The Gauteng province has been hit the hardest by the third wave with the number of cases surging upward in that region. In light of this, it makes sense – from a safety point of view – to move games away from the area. 

According to the Daily Mail, a new schedule is in the pipeline and will be announced today.
