La Rochelle sign Rene Ranger

La Rochelle have announced the signing of former All Black utility back Rene Ranger who joins the club on a two-year deal until 2019.

Ranger previously played for French club Montpellier before returning to the Blues last year in order to try to force his way back into the All Blacks squad.

The 30-year-old has played six times for New Zealand.
