For the first time since January 2020, live-wire Munster fly-half Joey Carbery is set to make an appearance on the field of play. The 25 year-old, who has been suffering with ankle problems, has been named on Muster’s bench for their clash with Cardiff Blues at Cardiff Arms Park.
To date, Carbery has 17 Munster caps since joining the club from Leinster in 2018. His return will be greatly anticipated by Ireland and Munster fans alike.
His injury was picked up during Ireland’s World Cup warm-up fixture against Italy in 2019.
