Italy name squad for Round 5 of Six Nations

Italy have named their squad for the final round of the 2021 Six Nations.

The Auzzurri have had yet another disappointing tournament having been again labelled the ‘whipping boys’ in Europe’s premier international rugby competition.

Most recently, it was log-leaders Wales who had a turn to gallop over Franco Smith’s charges with a 48-7 score margin.

In Round 5, Italy will face Gregor Townsend’s Scotland and, while a victory looks decidedly unlikely, there will be hope from all quarters that the Italians will take this opportunity to put up a stronger fight.
