Ireland win Amsterdam 7s

Ireland's Development squad for Amsterdam contained a number of players with World Sevens Series experience. Shannon Houston, Katie Fitzhenry and Claire Keohane (captain), all played in the Canada leg of the World Series last month, and Eimear Considine, Elaine Ryan and Nicole Cronin had all represented their country at World Series competitions. In addition Jeamie Deacon and Liz Burke had both made their test debuts for the Ireland in the Six Nations and they were joined in the squad by their 15s captain Niamh Briggs, who recently joined up with the Sevens Programme.Read more about Ireland wi…
