Ireland name side for their opening Six Nations game

Andy Farrell has included two uncapped players in his first match day selection for Ireland’s opening fixture of the  Guinness Six Nations against Scotland.

Ireland last lost to Scotland in 2017 but it has been their only defeat in the last 6 games. 

Ireland have struggled in recent years in Round 1 of the tournament with just one win in the last four campaigns. 2018, when they last won their opening game, Ireland went on to win the Grand Slam.
