Canterbury loose forward Reed Prinsep has signed a two-year deal to play Super Rugby with the Hurricanes.
“Reed’s a quality character with an excellent work ethic who will fit in and add to our environment. He plays at six or eight and is a powerful and dynamic ball carrier with a great work rate," said Hurricanes assistant coach Jason Holland.
Prinsep was named as the Canterbury Colts player of the year in 2014, the same year he made his senior provincial debut and made his Super Rugby debut this year against the Chiefs.
He will join the Hurricanes this November in preparation for the club’s Super Rugby title defence in 2017.
