How Irish rugby plan to return play from August 22 - report

Leinster v Munster, late August. Leinster v Saracens, September 12. Pro 14 Final a week later all in the pipeline as the Irish Times reports on how Ireland and Europe will get rugby back, all culminating with the British and Irish Lions tour to South Africa in 2021.

The Aviva Stadium will operate under a new 'cocoon' system allowing just a maximum of 168 people allowed in the ground. No supporters have been factored in for the remainder of the year.

With Bundesliga clubs in Germany back playing, player living quarters may be adopted moving forward to maintain isolation before the Irish squad gets together to complete the Six Nations, planned for October, and November Tests
