The Chiefs cruised to a 36-12 away win over the Queensland Reds in round 10 of Super Rugby. The Chiefs completely dominated the first half as they ran in three tries after opening the scoring with an early penalty to take a commanding 24-0 lead into the break. An early second half score for the Chiefs all but wrapped up the match, but the Reds hit back to cross for two consolation tries to take the bonus point away form the Chiefs. However, the Chiefs would have the final say as they scored the crucial bonus point try well after the siren with the final play of the match.
