The Sharks kept the scoreboard ticking over with two second half penalties to reduce the deficit to just four points at 17-13. However, a Jaguares try with 10 minutes to play saw the hosts regain control of the match at 24-13. The Jaguares would put the cherry on the cake with their fourth try with the final play of the match securing a bonus point victory.
