Highlights: Scotland v New Zealand
- 1703
Heartbreak for Scotland as they come up just short of a historic win. NZ will for the 2nd week in a row be thankful to have come away with the victory after a disappointing 2nd half performance. It was 3-3 at HT after both sides traded penalty kicks. All of the tries were scored in the 2nd period with Codie Taylor getting the first, followed by Damian McKenzie. Jonny Gray hit back for Scotland before Beauden Barrett looked to have sealed it with a breakaway try in the 67th minute. Huw Jones looked to have Scotland back in the game with a magnificent team try after MOTM Hogg's clever grubber kick. Hogg looked extremely dangerous all night and had to be pushed into touch by Barrett at the death for NZ to salvage the win.
Both teams will regroup for their respective fixtures next week against Australia and Wales.
