A fantastic second half performance by Fiji saw them notch up their first win at the 2019 Rugby World Cup with a 45-10 victory over Georgia. Fiji crossed for the games first try midway through the first half to lead 7-0. Georgia pulled three points back with a penalty just before the break to trail 7-3 at halftime. Fiji started the second half strongly, with two quick tries taking them into a 17-3 advantage. Georgia hit back with their first try to trail 17-10 heading into the final quarter. However, Fiji were at their best in the final 20 minutes, showcasing their full attacking ability with some brilliant runs and superb offloads to run in four tries to seal an emphatic bonus point victory.
