New Zealand came away with another win in France as they edge a French XV by a narrow five-point margin in Lyon. France held the lead at half time due to a brace of tries from Gabriel Lacroix and the reliable boot of Trinh-Duc, a try on debut from Matt Duffie and Liam Squire kept them within touching distance at the break. New Zealand dominated the early territory in the second half and forged a lead through tries from Tuipulotu and Laumape. The French were resurgent in the final quarter and scored through Chavancy but it was too little too late as New Zealand edged a thriller.
