Connacht come from behind to clinch a narrow 20-18 victory in what was a thrilling inter-provincial fixture. Munster opened the scoring with Zebo's try, before furthering their lead through Keatley's conversion and kick at goal. O'Halloran managed to pull one back for the hosts, and Carty's kicking brought them to within 3 points at the interval. In the second half, Munster were forced to see out the final 20 minutes with 14 men after Conway was shown red for his reckless block on Carty, elbowing the outhalf in the head in the process. Tom Farrell took full advantage of the extra man as he weaved through for his try, which secured the win for his side.
