Harlequins name side to face London Irish

Harlequins’ coaching group has named the matchday 23 to make the short journey to Brentford to face city rivals London Irish.

There are five changes to the starting line-up for Sunday’s capital clash, with hooker George Head and back-row Tom Lawday replacing England call-ups Jack Walker and Alex Dombrandt in the pack. A shift in the side sees Dino Lamb swap jerseys with Club Captain Stephan Lewies this week, with the latter starting at blindside flanker.

The final changes see Tommy Allan, Oscar Beard and Aaron Morris start in the backline, with Bear claiming his first Gallagher Premiership start of the season in the midfield alongside Springbok Andre Esterhuizen.

A long-awaited return from injury comes for backrow James Chisholm amongst the Impact Players, making his first appearance of the season after a successful comeback with partner club London Scottish in the Championship in recent weeks.

The match also promises to be a special day for Danny Care as he equals Mike Brown's appearance record for the Club as he hits 351 games for Harlequins.
