Harlequins is thrilled to announce four further players have re-signed with the Club
Argentinan interntional loosehead prop Santiago Garcia Botta, scrum-half Lewis Gjaltema and Harlequins Academy duo Will Trenholm and Lennox Anyanwu are the latest players to recommit to the Club.
29-year-old Garcia Botta signs a new long-term contract to extend his time in the Famous Quarters having already enjoyed three seasons with the London club.
Arriving at The Stoop ahead of the 2020/21 season, halfback Gjaltema is looking forward to continuing his part in an exciting team. “I’m really pleased to be able to sign a new deal with Quins." Gjaltema said. "This is a team that do things a little bit differently to most and have proven that the Harlequins Way of doing things works.
“I want to continue to be a part of that and contribute to where this team is going. We play some of the most attractive rugby out there and I think every player wants to be part of a team that plays the way we do."
Academy products Trenholm and Anyanwu extend 12 and nine year careers with the Club respectively. Both promising and dynamic young players well-suited to Harlequins' famous brand of rugby, Trenholm re-signs following an impressive stint with England Sevens while Anyanwu signs fresh off the back of his breakthrough into the senior team having stood out during the Club's Premiership Cup fixtures against Saracens and Northampton Saints earlier this season.
