Hamish Watson reveals how Louis Rees-Zammit's hair cut came about

Louis Rees-Zammit's latest haircut caught the eye this week with the youngest member of the British & Irish Lions sporting a new lightning-themed trim.

Scotland flanker Hamish Watson has revealed how Louis Rees-Zammit came to have the new haircut.

The speedy outside back is referred to as "Rees Lightning" and when asked if it had anything to do with a fine, Scotland flanker Watson said: "I'm actually not on the fines committee, I'm in the environment committee - very important stuff.

"Yeah, it was a fine to shave the side of his head with a zero grade fade, but then I think that was all Zam himself who wanted the lightning bolt on it. I think that was optional.

"It was from Prav [Prav Mathema of medical management team]. He learned how to cut hair over lockdown, so it's actually pretty decent.

"A few of the boys have been using him for hair cuts."

Watson talks about the haircut 9 minutes into the video below.
