Kevin Morgan confirmed for Georgia role
The Ospreys have confirmed that strength and conditioning coach Kevin Morgan has accepted an offer to take up the position of head of physical performance with the Georgian Rugby Union.
Morgan will help the Lelos prepare for the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan, where they will be Wales’ first opponents. Full story
England Women Training Squad for 6 Nations announced
England Women Elite Player Squad convened yesterday for a four-day training camp at Loughborough University.
The camp will enable England to begin preparations for the upcoming Six Nations campaign and the Red Roses’ opening match against Italy on 4th February in the Stadio Mirabello (KO 17:30 GMT, Live Sky Sports).
Saracens sign Tongan international back-row Vailanu
Saracens have announced the signing of Tonga international back-row Sione Vailanu, who will join the Aviva Premiership club on a deal until the summer of 2019.
Vailanu, played twice for Tonga in November 2017 against Japan and Romania. The 22-year-old is a strong ball carrying forward, has spent the last four years playing sevens in Japan.
Bulls prepare for 2018
After a well-deserved rest, Bulls put all our focus back on preparing for Super Rugby 2018. The players will undergo medical and fitness check-ups during the weekend and we will resume training first thing Monday morning.
