Foster calls on TJ Perenara ahead of Scotland clash

All Black boss Ian Foster has called on the services of seasoned veteran scrumhalf TJ Perenara ahead of this weekend’s clash with Scotland at Murrayfield.

Perenara, 30, was part of the New Zealand A squad who turned the screws on Ireland A this past weekend. Now, Perenara will trade spots with Brad Weber in what was evidently a pre-planned move.

“We’re bringing TJ over to us to replace Brad – there was a predetermined plan to give both a couple of weeks with us [in the All Blacks squad],” Foster told reporters.

To date, Perenara boasts 78 All Black caps.
