Disciplinary: Rhys Tait (Doncaster Knights)

he case of Rhys Tait, Doncaster Knights, was heard by an independent panel chaired by Daniel Gore, sitting with Mitch Read and Tony Wheat.

Tait was cited for contact with an opponent above the line of the shoulders in a ruck or maul, contrary to World Rugby Law 9.20b, during a game against Cornish Pirates on Saturday 24th May.

Tait admitted the charge and received a two-match ban, which will be reduced to one if he successfully completes the World Rugby Coaching Intervention Programme (CIP).
