Danny Cipriani assured that he does have a Test future

Gloucester playmaker Danny Cipriani has been assured by England that he does have a Test future after being excluded from the training squad in Bristol.

“The guy has got x-factor, he's got talent, there is no doubt about that. By no means is Danny scrapped," said England assistant coach Scott Wisemantel

Cipriani was omitted from the training squad despite starting England's 10-25 victory over South Africa in June and starting the season well.

“He’s not here as we only needed two fly-halves for what is a short camp, but Danny is still in the mix.” said Scott Wisemantel
