U20 International Daniel Brennan will join Montpellier next season, arriving from Stade Toulousain on a three-year deal.
Born in Dublin, Brennan progressed through the youth ranks with Toulouse before he was called into the French U17 squad in 2015, making his debut for the side against the USA in 2015, going on to captain the team to a 28-26 win over England before being called to the France U20 squad where he featured at the 2017 Six Nations.
"I love Toulouse, but I really felt the urge to change air, city ... I had several proposals but the fact of having spoken to Vern Cotter really made me want to come. I think I have a lot to learn from him. Montpellier is a club on the rise. I hope to play at the highest level with the MHR and if possible win titles!"
Joining Brennan at Montpellier is center Pierre Tournebize, who signed a three-season deal while hooker Yuri Delhommel has signed up for two years.
The club also confirmed contract extensions, with Georgian pillar Ushangi Tcheishvili extending his contract for two more seasons and U20 world champion Arthur Vincent also continuing the adventure with a two-season contract.
