On his thoughts on the Wales team:

"They play a very consistent game. They are a very good team and their coaching ticket is very good, I know them well. I assume we’ll have a very tough afternoon."

On Agustin Creevy becoming the fifth-oldest player in Rugby World Cup history:

"It’s a good fact. I didn’t know that. Thank you very much, one more to congratulate him.

"Agustin is a great player for Argentina. He’s had a great career and hopefully he can get on to the pitch and get his quality on because it’s admirable how, at his age, he’s playing some of the best footy of his life. For me, it’s really honourable. I’ll tell him that fact, he’ll be happy."

On the decision to include Tomás Cubelli as scrum-half:

“There is always competition and it has been very difficult for us each week to choose the 23 that play, which is what we want. This time we saw Tomi very well physically, he is a player with a lot of experience and we believe that he can give us that. He has clarity in what we want to do – the same with Gonza [Bertranou] and Laucha [Bazán Vélez]. It's more strategic. When you have three [scrum-halves], one is going to be left out and that is the hard part, but they are all pulling in the same direction and everyone understands these situations.”

On the non-inclusion of Gareth Anscombe:

“They have three fly-halves and I think he is coming from an injury. I don't know if he is 100% ready to play. He is an excellent player, but they also have Dan Biggar and Sam Costelow, who I saw playing quite a bit when I was at Leinster; he is a very, very interesting player.”

On how to stop Wales' kicking game:

“They are strategies; Wales' stand-up play is just one part of the dangerous team they are; They have good defence, good fixed formations. Our first plan is for them to stop us and not us to stop them; more focused on us.”

"Very happy. Previously (in 2015) I had to come in as an impact player and now that I start from the beginning it will be interesting, being there from kick-off I will be able to help the team longer and I may contribute a lot.”

On Wales' backrow without Toby Faletau

“I know Faletau well, a great player and ball carrier. The backrow is very mobile and they tackle like the South Africans. We are analyzing them.”

On how to play against Wales:

“Playing to our plan and doing it well. We have players to be dangerous, in our 15, in our 23. It is trusting our plan, our system and doing what we can do.”

On facing Louis Rees-Zammit:

“He is a very good player. I faced him several times in the Premiership. He is a very strong player, very fast, very skilled. More than a one-on-one duel, it is their attack against our defence and our defence comes in handy. I have the confidence of my outside centre inside to defend him.”
