Champions Cup - Quarter Finalist Form Tracker

With the 2018/19 Champions Cup a day away we take a look at last seasons quarter finalists and how their form is heading into the competition

Leinster

Leinster are on the verge of equally their best ever Champions Cup run with 10 straight wins. They are only 1 of 2 sides to have won all 9 Champions Cup games in a season, the other being Saracens.

Leinster have averaged a 90% tackle completion in the Pro 4 this season and have won their last 4 games, notably their most recent win against Munster which saw a great performance by James Lowe

Racing 92

The star studded side will no doubt approach this season as one where they have some unfinished business. They were in sublime form but managed to lose both the Champions Cup and Top 14 finals they played in.

Their domestic form is inconsistent this season with 4 wins from 7 and a recent loss to Lyon as the Paris side no doubt had an eye on this weeks competition

Scarlets

The Scarlets are on a 2 game winning streak in the Pro 14 competition with a big win over the Kings and a 3 point win over Ospreys last weekend. They are averaging 18 defenders beaten per game and will be eyeing an opening game home win against the dangerous Racing 92

Munster

Munster have won 3 of their opening 6 games this season. They took an 8 point loss last week to Leinster but destroyed Ulster the week before running in 9 tries. Joey Carbery has been a great addition to the squad but with Alby Mathewson missing the opening round through injury, Munster will have their work cut out ahead of their trip to Exeter

Saracens

Saracens exited the competition last season following a Quarter Final loss to the eventual champions. Saracens are unbeaten this season and have scored 29 tries. Owen Farrell is in his usual form and will be an integral part of their campaign. Billy Vunipola's return could not have come at a better time for the Premiership Champions as the England forward made an astonishing 26 carries against Harlequins

Toulon

Toulon have had a poor start to the season with just 2 wins this season in what is the worst start to a Top 14 campaign since their were relegated. They are averaging just 16 points per game and will be eyeing a big win against Newcastle Falcons this weekend. Josua Tuisova is the leading try scorer this season with 3. Liam Messam will miss the opening game following a red card last week
