Ulster Bank League
Week 1 of the Ulster Bank League Division 1A got off to an interesting start with all 5 away teams winning their matches.
Lansdowne gave an impressive performance against Garryowen and it looks like the side that finished 7th in the league last year after a 2014/2015 season win, has got some power back in its ranks with the a line up of fresh new faces including Stephen Gardiner (New Zealand) Tyrone Moran (London Scottish) Willie Earle (Dubai) Tom Sexton (Western Force) Joe McSwiney (Australia).
In Division 1B, Dolphin RFC couldn't defend the relentless attack from UL Bohemians and the Thormond Park based side went home with a 41-10 victory.
In Division 2A, Bandbridge picked up a try-scoring bonus point against Sunday's Well who where promoted from 2B last season.

Leinster
Leinster League 1A kicked off on the 17th with wins for all the home teams: Enniscorthy, Gorey, Malahide and Kilkenny. Divisions 1B, 2A, 2B and 2C start this weekend with the clashes between Wicklow & Tullow and North Kildare hosting Portlaoise are ones to look out for.
Connacht
The first round of Connacht Junior League 1A saw Connemara, Ballina, Westport and Ballinasloe victorious with some massive winning margins - the smallest being 25 points.
Munster
The Munster Juinor Leagues also begin this weekend and you can checkout the season fixtures for your local side by searching for and favouriting them in-app.
Principality Premiership
Defending champions Ebbw Vale sealed thier first win of the season with a 33-17 score against Newport. Flyhalf Josh Lewis is certainly a young man to keep an eye on having scored 23 of those points himself with four penalties, three conversions and a charge down try.
Bedwas made it two-for-two with a 37-19 victory over last season's National Championship winners Merthyr.
A lightning four tries in 15 minutes from Llanelii in the second half of their game against Pontypridd injected some extra adrenaline into Saturday's game, but the visitors came back in the waning minutes of the game to secure a 41-29 win thanks to a converted try from Ceri Sweeny and another by Wales Under 18 scrum-half Dane Blacker.
Bargoed celebrated thier first Premieship win against Swansea 29-9. The All Whites are now bottom of the league having failed to secure a win in their three matches this season.
The most definitive defeat of the weekend was certainly Cross Key's 48-3 win against Neath.
England National League
What a cracking game in the National League 1 between Blaydon and Loughborough Students: 15 tries and five yellow cards. The Students triumphed 66-38 after a fiercely contested match.
Blaydon and Rosslyn Park share the bottom of the league spot with Hartpury College in the number 1 spot.
National 2 South side Taunton are on fire after their third bonus point win this season against Barnes (27-35) which places them at the top of the league table while Barnes, Clifton, Barnestaple and Exmouth are still looking for their first wins.
