Brown Itchy To Get Out There

Scotland hooker Fraser Brown can’t wait to reap the rewards for his hard work when he starts against Australia on Sunday.

“It is what I’ve been preparing for for the last two years and it is going to be a huge opportunity for us to go out there and do something we haven’t done for some time,” said Brown.

Brown however felt sorry for his position rival Ross Ford, after he and Jonny Gray were handed three-week suspensions.

“It is tough for Fordy and Jonny (Gray – also suspended), but we’ve spoken about it with them,” he added.

"When they initially got cited we prepared for it and from Tuesday we focused on the weekend.

“Ross has been around the block long enough and he has dealt with it by throwing himself into helping us prepare as well as possible and allowing us to get ready for the weekend.”
