Billy Robinson commits future to Nottingham

Nottingham Rugby have retained the services of fullback and winger Billy Robinson for another year.

The former Moseley and Ealing Trailfinders back joined Nottingham back in the summer of 2014 and has been a mainstay in the Green & Whites squad since.

Pleased to be retaining one of the longer-serving members of his squad, incoming head coach Neil Fowkes said:

“Billy’s been here a while now and he’s an integral part of our leadership group. He brings a lot of experience and he’s one of the rocks of our backline, it’s great that he’s here for another year.”

The 30 year-old has made a total of 80 appearances, scoring 15 tries for the club, with 19 of those appearances and one try coming so far this season, where Robinson has spent most of the campaign on the wing, after mainly featuring as a fullback in previous years.
