Bath v Clermont | Winners and Losers

Bath secure a bonus point win at the Rec as they beat 14 man ASM Clermont Auvergne. Here are our winners and losers.

Losers:

Giorgi Akhaladze:

Akhaladze was shown a red card in the 24th minute following a dangerous tackle. He may feel hard done by with some mitigation not managed but either way it was a key moment.

Clermont Composure:

The visitors were moments away from scoring a bonus point try to secure a valuable bonus point but rushed a quick tap and coughed it up a few meters out.

Winners:

Bath Midfield:

Ojomoh and Lawrence together have the potential to be the best in Europe. They showcased plenty of their skills and with Ojomoh regaining last seasons form they will be ones to watch.

Anthony Belleau:

The Clermont 10 managed the game well with his team down to 14 men. He and Baptiste Jauneau at 9 were superb.
