Harlequins have announced that back-row Archie White has re-signed with the Club.
24-year-old White is another key player to have come through the Harlequins Academy, making his senior debut during the 2015/16 season in Quins’ European Challenge Cup campaign.
The former England U-20 international has amassed 55 appearances in the Famous Quarters which includes fourteen appearances during the current 2021/22 season, featuring in the eight shirt six times during a busy 6 Nations period.
After putting pen to paper, White said: “It’s an amazing feeling to re-sign with Quins once again. This team is looking to build something incredible, and I can’t wait to try and play a big part in that.
“The squad have both the Heineken Champions Cup and the back end of the Gallagher Premiership coming up in the next few weeks so the whole Club is really excited.
“Harlequins is the Club that I have been a part of from my school years so I’m over the moon to extend my stay.”
Head Coach Tabai Matson added: “We’re thrilled to have Archie re-sign with Harlequins. Over the last few months, he has really impressed the whole coaching group and has become a crucial part of our forward pack.
“Archie made his senior debut aged 18 and has now been part of the first team squad for seven seasons. He’s worked extremely hard and it’s a testament to our amazing Academy programme here at Quins.
“This season we have seen him grow as a player and a leader and has even captained our Premiership Cup side.
“We can’t wait to watch him continue his development here at Quins and we’re all excited for his future in the famous Quarters.”
